Copernicus for Raw Materials - RawMatCop Academy 2023
Organized by EIT Raw Materials and co-funded by the European Commission. It offered hands-on training with Copernicus Sentinel-2 and Sentinel-1 data, covering mineral exploration, deposit mapping, iron mineral detection, water body analysis and acid mine drainage, vegetation monitoring in mining areas, and mining activity tracking, including waste management.
Machine Learning in Weather and Climate
This 4-month training, organized by ECMWF (European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts) in partnership with IFAB (International Foundation for Big Data and Artificial Intelligence), focused on applying Machine Learning to key stages of numerical weather and climate prediction, including data acquisition, assimilation, forecasting, and post-processing.
EUSPA Training on Galileo, EGNOS, and Copernicus
The European Union Agency for the Space Programme (EUSPA) organized a 3-month training on leveraging EU Space Programme data and tools, including Galileo, EGNOS, Copernicus, GOVSATCOM, and Space Situational Awareness (SSA) to create innovative applications and disruptive business solutions.
Sustainable Development Approaches in Engineering Research and Education
Organised by the Montanuniversität Leoben in 2021, focused on integrating sustainability and innovation into mining and engineering practices. Key topics: responsible mining, life cycle assessment, sustainable extraction technologies, alongside digital competencies like process measurement and robotics. The program included circular economy principles and critical metal circularity.

Celebrating Success: Reflections at the SURE5.0 Webinar
In 2024, we embarked on an exciting journey by joining the SURE5.0 Acceleration Programme 1, a six-month initiative under the Horizon Europe project SURE5.0 (Supporting SMEs Sustainability and Resilience Transition Towards Industry 5.0). On November 21, 2024, the public virtual stage was set for an event that brought together some of the most promising SMEs from the programme, to reflect on six months of intense innovation, collaboration, and growth. This programme gave us a chance to create novel tools to empower others.

ResC4EU B2B Platform Launch in Krakow, Poland
We participated in the 13th International Trade Fair for Composite Materials, Technologies and Products, KOMPOZYT-EXPO®, held on October 16-17, 2024, in Krakow. The event marked the official launch of our collaborative B2B platform, which we are designing and implementing to support the project team. The launch was an exciting milestone, highlighting the platform's potential to foster collaboration and strengthen resilience of supply chains. We had the pleasure of participating in the EU Funding Lunch for Beginners, organized by Business Upper Austria. Introducing ResC4EU Project: Resilient Supply Chains for Europe
We are excited to announce our role as one of the creators and technical contributors to the Horizon Europe project, Resilient Supply Chains for Europe (ResC4EU). Launched in January 2024 and funded by the European Commission, this ambitious initiative aims to strengthen supply chain resilience of SMEs across Europe. The ResC4EU project officially began with its kickoff meeting in February 2024, held at the historic Bremen Cotton Exchange—a landmark built in 1902.

We proudly participated in the “NextGen Online Platforms: Foresight Session on B2B Supply Chains” in Brussels, hosted by the European Commission, PPMI and TNO. This exclusive event convened policymakers, platform experts, and industry leaders to discuss the challenges and opportunities for future supply chain platforms. The session explored four distinct futures, envisioning how economic, geopolitical and cybersecurity trends might shape supply chains by 2035.
