Certificates
Copernicus for Raw Materials - RawMatCop Academy 2023
Organized by EIT Raw Materials and co-funded by the European Commission. It offered hands-on training with Copernicus Sentinel-2 and Sentinel-1 data, covering mineral exploration, deposit mapping, iron mineral detection, water body analysis and acid mine drainage, vegetation monitoring in mining areas, and mining activity tracking, including waste management.
Machine Learning in Weather and Climate
This 4-month training, organized by ECMWF (European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts) in partnership with IFAB (International Foundation for Big Data and Artificial Intelligence), focused on applying Machine Learning to key stages of numerical weather and climate prediction, including data acquisition, assimilation, forecasting, and post-processing.
EUSPA Training on Galileo, EGNOS, and Copernicus
The European Union Agency for the Space Programme (EUSPA) organized a 3-month training on leveraging EU Space Programme data and tools, including Galileo, EGNOS, Copernicus, GOVSATCOM, and Space Situational Awareness (SSA) to create innovative applications and disruptive business solutions.
Sustainable Development Approaches in Engineering Research and Education
Organised by the Montanuniversität Leoben in 2021, focused on integrating sustainability and innovation into mining and engineering practices. Key topics: responsible mining, life cycle assessment, sustainable extraction technologies, alongside digital competencies like process measurement and robotics. The program included circular economy principles and critical metal circularity.
